Life Legacy




A funeral service for Genita Rena "Polly" Hall of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be Saturday, February, 18, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Janie Bentley officiating at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from noon until service time.

Polly passed away February 14, 2012, in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 77. She was born March 12, 1934, in Gamaliel, Arkansas. She married Robert Hall on December 22, 1961, at Mountain Home, Arkansas and worked as a waitress. Polly lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas most of her life. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, quilting and spending time with the grandkids.

Polly is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, 3 sons, Barney (Janie) Bentley of Elk City, OK; Mike Bentley of Mountain Home, AR and Lonnie (Cheryl) Bentley of West Lafayette, IN; 3 daughters, JoAnn (Gordon) Brazzell of Gassville, AR, Mary Jo Cain of Mountain Home, AR and Cathy (Tony) Squire of Mountain Home, AR; 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, 4 brothers, Fred, Thomas, Lawrence and Alex, Jr. Bentley and 4 sisters, Geniveve Dahn, Dixie Edwards, Lola Comstock and Nancy McCormack.

She was preceded in death by her parents Alex and Catherine Bentley, 1 daughter, Nellie and 3 brothers, Edward Parks, Wendell Bentley and Bruce Bentley and grandparents, Bill and Myrtle Provow.

Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas with Brian, David, Robert, Jason and Heath Bentley, Freddie Dwyer and Curtis Ledbetter as pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
