A Memorial Service for Jean May Barrett of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Thursday, December 18, 2014, at The Bridge Baptist Church, with Pastor Hershel Conley officiating.
Jean passed away December 4, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 89. She was born May 29, 1925, in England, the daughter of Edward and Emily Esther Jones Hughes. She married Andrew Barrett on September 29, 1959, at Denver, Colorado, and was a county clerk. Jean lived in Mountain Home since moving from Colorado Springs, Colorado, in 2008. She enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles.
Jean is survived by her sister-in-law, Sheila, nieces and nephews, Alison, Stephen, Mark and Jill, all of England and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Sophie, Jonas, Fraser, Rupert, Hermione and Ian.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Emily Esther Hughes Cameron and two brothers, Edward and Roy Hughes.
Memorials may be made to the Master's Blend Kitchen at The Bridge Baptist Church, 3368 Highway 62 SW, Mountain Home, AR 72653.
