Amanda Christine (Johnson) Dodson

Amanda Christine (Johnson) Dodson of Omaha, Arkansas, passed away March 6, 2022, in Omaha, Arkansas at the age of 36. She was born June 3, 1985, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, the daughter of Bill and Chris Rea Johnson. Amanda was a secretary for the Omaha and Cotter, Arkansas School Districts. She was a member of the Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and being with her family. She adored her fur babies Tate, Boomer, and Ellie. Amanda will be remembered for her bright smile and quick wit.

Amanda is survived by her parents, Bill and Chris Johnson of Gassville, AR; sister, Sarah (Jon) Stillwell; nephew, Miles Stillwell; step-children, Grant and Marleigh; aunt, Willa Mae Tilley of Mountain Home, AR; uncles, John Rea and Carl Hollis; grandmother, Paralee Rea; and a host of extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Willard and Daisy Johnson, J.C. Rea, and Margarette Maddocks; and aunt, Martha Martin.

Visitation will be Monday, March 14, 2022 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Service for Amanda will be 10:00 am, Tuesday March 15, 2022 at Twin Lakes Baptist Church with Dr. Sam Bailey Officiating. Burial will follow at the Newton Flat Cemetery, Bull Shoals, Arkansas with Jon Stillwell, Michael Dewey, Joshua Fletcher, Levi Olson, Jordan Hurst, Devin Stevens, and Dalton Tilley, as pallbearers.
