Graveside services for Bruce Richard Nye, 75, of Minneapolis, Minnesota formerly of Mountain Home, Arkansas will be 11:00 A.M., Friday, December 21, 2012, at the Newton Flat Cemetery with Reverend David Mattson officiating and military honors provided by the Ozark V.F.W. Post #3246. Bruce died December 9, 2012, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born September 11, 1937 at La Grange, Illinois, the son of Victor and Veola Penkewitz Nye. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and an electrical engineer. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois. He is survived by his two sons, Eric Nye of Andover, MN and Tom Nye of Blaine, MN and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ken. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
