Memorial Services for Danny O'Neil Hamilton of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 4:00 PM Friday, October 8, 2010 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Military honors will be provided by the Ozark V.F.W. Post #3246 Honor Guard.
Danny died Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Pine Lane Health Care, at the age of 89. He was born October 22, 1920 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, the son of Paul Simeon and Mattie Binkley Reich. Danny was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a B29 Pilot. He was self-employed as a mason and bricklayer and owned several businesses in the area over the years. Danny lived in the Twin Lakes area since the early 1950's. He was a founding member of the Bull Shoals V.F.W.
Danny is survived by 3 sons, Jesse O'Neil Reich of Austin, TX, Tipton Hamilton of Pearland, TX and Paul Hamilton of Mountain Home, AR; 1 daughter, Jeannie Hamilton of Alvin, TX; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son, Phillip and 2 brothers.
Burial will be in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
