Joyce M Hove

Joyce M. Hove of Elizabeth, Arkansas, passed away December 10, 2023, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 86. She was born April 7, 1937, in Britton, South Dakota, the daughter of Percy and Minnie Roehr Wallace. She married George Hove on December 19, 1958 and was a teacher in South Dakota and Montana for more that 30 years. Joyce lived in Arkansas since moving from Shelby, Montana in 1994. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and for 14 years was immensely involved with Operation Christmas Child. She enjoyed reading and she loved her dogs.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 65 years, George Hove of Elizabeth, AR; sister, Marlene Stacey; nieces, Krista Windingland; Tera Bodwell and Trisha Stacey; nephew, Eric Hove; godchild, Kasi Miller; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Memorial Service will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Mike Clark officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1pm until 2pm.

Memorials may be made to the Samaritan's Purse.
