Rachel A. Livingston died Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House. Rachel A. Livingston was born July 11, 1926 at South Bend, Indiana to Samuel Gayle and Jennie Labadie Livingston. She married John David Livingston on December 27, 1952 in South Bend, Indiana. Rachel was a graduate of Indiana State University and taught as an elementary school teacher for over 20 years in Italy, Guam, New Jersey, Indiana and Arizona. Rachel Livingston was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church where she was instrumental in the formation of "The Prayer Room" and was a Youth Counselor for many years. She was also the coordinator of the volunteers for the Food Basket and a volunteer at the GAMMA House. Survivors: Husband, David of Mountain Home; 2 sons - David Hall Livingston of Neosho, Mo., and Frank J. Livingston and wife, Laurie, of Thornton, Colorado and one daughter, Jennie H. Munson and husband, Bryan of South Korea; 8 children and 5 great grandchildren, 2 brothers - Jerry Jennings of Ypsilanti, Michigan and Samuel Jennings of Kalamazoo, Michigan; 1 sister - Jean Fess of Kalamazoo, Michigan and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by: Parents and one sister, Jacquelyn Funeral: Memorial Service for Rachel A. Livingston of Mountain Home will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 27, 2007 at Eastside Baptist Church with Dr. Mike Shy officiating. Burial: Entombment will be in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorials: Women Opportunity Fund, a division of Opportunity International, 2122 York Road, Oak Brook, Illinois.
