Rosa Lewis

Rosa Lee Lewis, age 81, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010. She was born December 23, 1928, in Big Flat, Arkansas to Roy and Ida Sutterfield Tilley. On March 11, 1950 she married Vernon Lewis, Sr. at Gassville, Arkansas. Mrs. Lewis retired from Baxter Healthcare with 20 years of service. She was a member of College and North Church of Christ. She was a lifetime area native, enjoyed gardening and was very devoted to her family.


Survivors are: two sons, Larry (Irene) Lewis, Salesville, Arkansas and Junior (Brenda) Lewis of Norfork, Arkansas, two daughters, Sandy (Dorman) Loftis of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Debi (Larry) Kaminski of Mountain Home, Arkansas; one sister and three brothers, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and four brothers.


Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Bill Dillon officiating. Interment will be in the Conley Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas with Shawn Loftis, Josh Kaminski, Adam Lewis, Aaron Lewis, Aaron Tilley and Larry Kaminski as pallbearers. Richard Kemp, T.J. Henderson, Dorman Loftis, Rex McGuire, Vernon Cotter, Harold Tackett, Tony Tilley and Hank Tilley will be honorary pallbearers.
