Ada Viola Hess of Jordan, Arkansas, passed away January 2, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 76. She was born September 25, 1944, in West Plains, Missouri, the daughter of Mitchell and Antha Burtchett Ford. She married Hans Hess on August 16, 2013 in Calico Rock, AR and worked as a Nurses Aid. She loved to sing at her church, Gospel Truth Church in Pineville, AR.
Ada is survived by her husband, Hans Hess, of Jordan, AR; son, Chester Lee McMahan, of Joplin, MO, daughter, Elizabeth Pearl Hamilton, of Noel, MO; two granddaughters, Amanda Hamilton, of Hastings, MN and Misty May Hamilton, of Riverview, FL; two grandsons, Trae Hamilton, of Grove, OK and Daniel McMahan, of Springfield, MO; two great grandchildren, Creed and Jensen Hamilton; three brothers, Jimmie H. Ford, of Wichita, KS, Billy E. Ford, of Calico Rock, AR and Tommy L. Ford, of Mountain Home, AR; three sisters, Julie May Acklin of Jordan, AR, Barbara Lasher, of Enid, OK, Dolly Bucktrot, of Bristow, OK and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Lonie McMahan.
