Ada Keeter

A private family memorial service for Ada Lee Keeter of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be held at a later date. Ada died Monday, February 21, 2011 at her residence, at the age of 84. She was born September 6, 1926 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Lonus and Lena Brown Adams. She graduated from high school in 1944 at Arkansas City, Arkansas. She married Heskel Keeter on April 17, 1949 at Newport, Arkansas and was a homemaker. Ada lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1989 moving from Taylor, Michigan. She enjoyed baking, reading and crossword puzzles. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was a member of the Church of Christ. Ada is survived by her husband of 62 years, Heskel Keeter of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Patricia (Jerry) Calhoun of Newport, AR; son, Michael (Camie) Keeter of Ridgecrest, CA; brother, Marvin (Demple) Adams of Batesville, AR; grandchildren, Kelley Eiden of Mountain Home and Elliott Keeter and Gavin Fielder of CA; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Robert and Rebecca Eiden, all of Mountain Home, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Melvin "Buddy" Adams. Inurnment will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Yellville, AR. Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
