Alan Schleer

Alan Schleer died Friday, April 17, 2009 in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 78. He was born Friday, May 9, 1930 in Aurora, Illinois, the son of Gustav and Pearl Lauer Schleer. He married Vivian Denton on June 21, 1956 at Naperville, Illinois. He worked as a Foreman for New Page Boiler Works. Alan Schleer was a U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne, veteran of Korea. Alan lived in Bull Shoals since 1989 moving from Naperville, Illinois. He enjoyed fishing and bingo. He was easygoing and had a sense of humor.
