Albert Puddy

Albert Puddy, 71, of Bull Shoals passed away Monday, January 15th, 2007 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be 11 AM, January 17th at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home in Bull Shoals with Reverend Jerry Backus officiating. Military honors will be provided by Hoevel-Barnett VFW Post 1341. Albert Puddy was born September 26th, 1935 at Boise, Idaho to Vilas and Larena Puddy. He married Judy Perdue at Oran, Missouri in 1979 and worked as a Food Service Manager. Mr. Puddy served as Staff Sergeant in the Marine Corp for 14 years, serving in Vietnam. He was a Bull Shoals resident since 1998, moving here from St. Louis, Missouri. He was a member of the Hoevel-Barnett VFW Post 1341. He was an avid reader and enjoyed building birdhouses in his workshop. He is survived by wife Judy Puddy of Bull Shoals; one son, Robert Puddy of Lakeview; one daughter, Kathryn (Ted) Leimer of Jackson, Missouri; one stepson, Jeffery A. Glasscock of Flippin; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Interment will be in Newton Flat Cemetery.
