Alberta “Misty” L. Orlove, 81, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away peacefully on October 16, 2022 at her home, where she has lived for the past 22 years. She was born on November 19, 1940, in Norfork, Virginia to Edward and Effie Mae Lewis Cappola. Misty was a non-military civilian and served as Director of Moral, Welfare and Recreation for the United States Navy and was stationed in Iceland. She loved her job and traveled to different Navy Bases during her career.
Misty was a talented artist and sold many of her beautiful paintings all over the country. In addition to her paintings she created gourds in wind chimes, bowl, and many other things. Each piece of art was unique, designed and painted with love. She was a member of the Pallet Art League in Yellville, Arkansas. Misty was chosen many times to show her art during the annual Art Odyssey.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Robert and Alan. She is survived by her best friend, Carol Wulf and many close friends.
A Celebration of Life for Misty will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 415 Circle Drive in Yellville, Arkansas from 2-4PM. Join her friends as we honor this wonderful person and the life she shared with us.
