A Memorial Service for Alfredda Rhoades of Mountain Home, Arkansas, formerly of Calico Rock, Arkansas, Kansas City, Missouri, and Grandview, Missouri, will be held at a later date in May, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with Heather Marsalis as Celebrant. Alfredda passed away March 18, 2020, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 101. She was the oldest of ten children, born May 29, 1918, in Stidham, Oklahoma, the daughter of Alfred and Lena Hanks Combs. She married Theodore Rhoades in September 1936. She enjoyed leather crafts and genealogy. Alfredda is survived by her son, John Rhoades of Independance, MO; sisters, Virginia Lammers of Independence, MO, and Patricia Retheford of Wright City, MO; brothers, David Combs of Blue Springs, MO and Norman Combs of Grain Valley, MO; and several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughters, Shirley J. Dykstra and Bertha N Whitesell; sons, William D and Alfred T. Rhoades; sisters, Dorothy Bradley, Frances Todd, and Elizabeth Pitcher; brothers, Donald Combs and Anthony Combs. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services - Mountain Home, Arkansas.
