Funeral services for Alice M. Freeberg of Gassville, AR, will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Carl Cook officiating.
Alice died Friday, October 2, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 84. She was born Tuesday, March 10, 1925 in Calumet City, Wisconsin, daughter of James and Hilda Grimm Spetta. She married Arthur Freeberg on November 20, 1944 at Chicago, Illinois and worked as a professional seamstress. Alice lived in Gassville since 2006 moving from Conway, Missouri. She taught herself how to play the piano and enjoyed creating. She was very talented, an avid reader and a homemaker that cared for her family.
Alice Freeberg is survived by her husband, Arthur Freeberg, two sons, Calden (Margaret) Freeberg of Buckeye, AZ, Rick (Angie) Freeberg of Gassville, AR, one daughter, Bonnie (James) Rohrssen of Mesa, AZ, one brother, James (Shirley) Spetta of New Holstein, WI, 7 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Margaret Jascob.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
