Alice Kramer

Alice W. Kramer went to her heavenly reward on Monday, August 24th, at 11:42 P.M.. She was surrounded by her longterm companion Barbara Peppard of the home and dear friend Cindy Hayes. Alice Kramer was born on March 24, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois. She attended school in Chicago and later became a librarian for the Chicago Public Library, from there she worked as a librarian in the Lake Zurich, Illinois Public Schools. She was an avid animal lover, and leaves behind her beloved dogs and cat. Alice enjoyed the company of many good friends, especially Brenda, Genevieve, Jeanne and Rita all of Illinois. She is survived by cousins, Harriet, Gretchen and Zeb, as well as other Kramer relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. A Memorial service will be held, 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, kindly donations can be made to the Baxter County Animal Control or the North Central Arkansas Humane Society. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
