Alice Dorothy Staehle

Alice Dorothy Staehle, 91 years old, of Crest Hill, IL (formerly of Mountain Home, AR) passed away peacefully Monday, November 14, 2016, at Sunny Hill Nursing Home, Joliet, IL. She was born March 20, 1925, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth Nelson. She attended Austin High School, and was preceded in death by her husband Robert William Staehle. In addition to being a homemaker and great cook, Alice was a bookkeeper and enjoyed singing, playing the piano, quilting and hosting many celebrations.
Alice is survived by her three children, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Alice's family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to all the nurses and staff at Sunny Hill Nursing Home for their care and compassion.
