Alice Stanford

Alice Rosetta Stanford age 88 passed away on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2009 in Pensacola FL where she has resided for the past 7 years. A resident of Arkansas most of her life she was preceded in death by her husband W.R. "Pete" Stanford, 2 brothers and one sister. She is survived by one son Rev. Charles R. Stanford and wife Jo of Pensacola, one daughter Mary K England and husband Michael of Jonesboro, AR, one sister Martha Bowden of Homer LA, 4 grandchildren Alice Joella Stanford of Los Angeles CA, Jade Stanford of Destin FL, Jeremy England of Houston TX and Rachel England of Las Vegas, NV and 3 great grandchildren. She was a member of Northridge Church in Pensacola where a memorial service will be held in her honor on Tuesday, April 14 at 5:00 p.m.. A graveside service and burial at Tucker Cemetery in Mountain Home, AR will be conducted on Thursday, April 16 at 2:00 p.m. After retiring from JC Penney Co., Mrs. Stanford enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends and being involved in church activities.
