Alison Maxine Wright

A Funeral Service for Alison Maxine Roach Wright of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Richard Crawford officiating. Visitation will be Monday, February 13, 2017, from 5:00 until 8:00 pm, at the Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Funeral and graveside services will also be held in Covington, Tennessee.

Maxine passed away February 9, 2017, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 90. She was born November 20, 1926, in Covington, Tennessee, the daughter of Howard and Mamie Holliman Roach. She married James Luther Jones on July 2, 1944, and after his passing, she married Doug Wright on April 1980 at Ontario, California. She worked as a Instructional Aide for the Ontario Montclair School District. Maxine lived in Mountain Home since 1987, moving from Montclair, California. She was a member of the East Side Baptist Church,United Daughters of the Confederacy and PTA. She enjoyed bowling and traveling.

Maxine is survived by her two sons, Jerry Wayne (Joyce) Jones of Fordland, MO and James (Becky) Jones of San Dimas, CA; daughter, Mary Leu of Campo, CA; two stepsons, Craig and Scott Wright of Kingman, AZ; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and two brothers, Roby (Charlotte) Roach of Lancaster, CA and Jimmy (Barbara) Roach of Jacksonville, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands and son, Harold Jones.
