Allan Hammerseth

Allan Erickson Hammerseth, age 95, was born on March 4, 1924, on Martha’s Vineyard Island, Massachusetts. He passed January 1, 2020, in Calico Rock, Arkansas. Allan served in the United States Navy in WWII in the South Pacific and spent the remainder of his life in aviation. For decades he was an active member of Pilots for Christ. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Jean, her daughters Donna, Ann, and Joy, and their families. He is also survived by a sister, Chris, and a brother, Richard. Allan placed his faith in Christ and was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Mountain Home, Arkansas. His wisdom and laughter will be missed. Family is requesting donations to the Redeemer Lutheran Church. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services - Mountain Home, Arkansas.
