Allard Mosel

Allard Mosel died Thursday, May 22, 2008 in Bull Shoals at the age of 90. Allard was born Tuesday, January 8, 1918 in Orchard, Nebraska, son of Henry and Martha Kiihne Mosel. He married Myra Marie Hauf on February 22, 1940 at Orchard, Nebraska. Allard lived in Bull Shoals for 2 years moving from Corona, California. He worked in a factory, as a carpenter and a factory foreman. He took care of his family, and liked to fish, bowl and garden. He also liked to ride his scooter. Survivors: Allard Mosel is survived by 1 Son, Gary (Mollie) Mosel of Bull Shoals, AR, 1 Daughter, Loretta (Paul) Highfill of Norco, CA, 1 Sister, Verona Alman of Norfolk, NE, 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Visitation: Visitation will be from 12 - 1 P.M., Wednesday, May 28 prior to service time at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Funeral: Funeral services for Allard W. Mosel of Bull Shoals, AR, will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor David Gadbaw officiating.
