Allen Edward Woelbing

A Memorial Service for Allen Edward Woelbing, 72, will be 10 AM, Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, AR with Reverend Marillyn Schultz officiating. A Visitation will be 3-5 PM, Sunday, August 11, 2013, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, AR. Entombment will be in Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Springfield, MO. Allen died August 9, 2013 at Mountain Home, AR.

Allen was born November 4, 1940 in South Milwaukee, WI to Edwin and Clara Wilman Woelbing. Allen’s beloved wife Delcie passed away September 16, 2012, just shy of their 50th wedding anniversary. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Allen lived in Bull Shoals, Arkansas since 1977, moving from Mequon, Wisconsin. He retired as an engineer at Square D in Milwaukee, WI and NATCO in Flippin, AR. He was passionate about flying and was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association. Allen was active in the Young Eagles, introducing young people to the joy of flying. He loved fishing, but he loved his family most.

Allen is survived by his sons, Chuck (Joy) Woelbing of Harrison, AR and Troy Woelbing of Bull Shoals, AR; daughter, Donna (Daniel) Schmidt of Flippin, AR; six grandchildren, Jennifer Walser, Jason Schmidt, Jessie Woelbing, Savanna Woelbing, Sarrah Woelbing and Troy A. Woelbing and three great-grandchildren, Madeline Schmidt, Maylin Walser and Emersen Woelbing. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
