A Memorial Service for Alton Bruce Cooke, III of Gassville, Arkansas, will be 11:00 am, Saturday, November 9, 2019, at the Bridge Baptist Church, with Pastor Johnny Shew officiating.
Alton passed away October 31, 2019, in Gassville, Arkansas, at the age of 28. He was born May 4, 1991, in Jacksonville, Florida, the son of Teresa (Wood) Cooke. Alton lived in Gassville since moving from Florida in 2004. He attended the Bridge Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time on the river with his buddies.
Alton is survived by his mother, Teresa Kay Cooke of Gassville, AR; sister, Sabrina Cooke of Gassville, AR; his memaw, Diana York of Gassville, AR; three aunts, Debbie (Tim) McFarland of Gassville, AR, Eva York of Midway, AR, and Barbara Lamb of Jacksonville, FL; uncle, Johnny (Denise) Cooke of Jacksonville, NC; his papa, Alton Bruce Cooke, Sr. of Jacksonville, FL; and a host of cousins and extended family.
He was preceded in death by two uncles, Eddie Lamb and Leon Beck; paternal grandmother, Jean Driggers; and maternal great-grandmother, Dorthey Barker.
