Amelia Neargarder

Amelia L. Neargarder was born June 11, 1907 at Melvin, Iowa, to Henry and Mable Jacobs Lutterman. She married Charles Cooper in 1923 in South Dakota where they farmed for many years. After his death in 1946, she married Russell Neargarder. She worked in production at National Envelope and has lived in Mountain Home since moving from Illinois in 2003. She was of Lutheran faith. Survivors: one son, Wayne (Rose) Cooper; two daughters, Faye (Ralph) Adams and Betty Finn; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren Preceded in Death by: her parents; two husbands, Charles Cooper and Russell Neargarder; infant son Dale; and daughter June Jeffers Visitation: 10:00 a.m. until service time Monday, June 12 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Funeral: 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 12, 2006 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Kenneth Taglauer officiating Burial: Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church, 353 Hwy. 5 North, Mountain Home, Arkansas 72653 Active Bearers: Charles Cooper, Eldon Cooper, Russell Cooper, Karl Grom, Walter Grom and Ryder Pierce
