Angela Major

Angela Major died Saturday, July 26, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 47. She was born Thursday, October 27, 1960 in Prescott, Arizona, the daughter of George Fischer and Mary Barnes. She worked as a Register Nurse for Baxter Regional Medical Center and lived in Mountain Home since 1982 moving from Riverside, California. She loved canoeing, hiking cooking and loved her grandchildren. She was a great, strong, single mom, vibrant and full of life, never met a stranger and her smile lit up the whole room. Survivors: Angela Major is survived by 2 sons, Ryan Major of Springfield, MO and Jared Major of Mountain Home, AR, daughter, Breanna Major of Mountain Home, AR, parents George (Sandra) Fischer of Mountain Home, TX and Mary (Wayne) Barnes of Riverside, CA., her boyfriend Robert Howard of Mountain Home, 2 grandchildern, Braden and Adrian Major, brother, David Fischer of CA and sister, Debbie Barnes of CA. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by 1 brother, Danny. Visitation: Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M. Sunday, August 3 at the funeral home and Monday 2 PM until service time. Funeral: Funeral services for Angela Jane Major of Mountain Home, AR, will be 3:00 P.M. Monday, August 4, 2008 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Bill Hughes officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery Memorials: An account for the family has been established at Arvest Bank. Active Bearers: Mountain Home Baptist Church Members will be pallbearers.
