Anita passed away June 30, 2015, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 81. She was born January 3, 1934, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Harry and Bonnie Bolwar Sparbel. She married John December 29, 1965 in LaSalle, Illinois. Anita was a wonderful homemaker, who also owned and managed antique shops in both Cherokee Village and Hardy, Arkansas. Anita was a loving wife, who enjoyed sewing and knitting and was a wonderful cook. She loved to travel and was a huge NASCAR fan, so much so that John took her to Dallas where she was able to ride around the track in Kevin Harvick's, #29 car at 160 mph. She will be greatly missed.
Anita is survived by her husband, John Reque of Mountain Home, AR; two brothers, Donald Sparbel of Huntington Beach, CA and Duane Sparbel of Syracuse, IN; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Mary Lou Sparbel and Joy Christopher.
