Ann Blight died Saturday, July 12, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 80. Ann Blight was born Friday, May 4, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of Eric and Helga Sundquist Birkland . She married Donald Blight on June 12, 1948 at Chicago, Illinois. She was as a homemaker and member of Eastside Baptist Church. Ann lived in Mountain Home since 1986, moving from Bloomington, Illinois. Survivors: Ann Blight is survived by her husband, Donald Blight of Mountain Home, AR, 3 sons; Steve (Carol) Blight of Denver, CO, Dave (Sandy) Blight of Champaign, IL, Tom (Brenda) Blight of St. Louis, MO, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation: Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M., Wednesday, July 16 at Kirby and Family Funeral Home. Funeral: Graveside services for Ann Elizabeth Blight of Mountain Home, AR, will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 17, 2008 at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with Reverend Jon Gilbert officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Baxter House Adult Day Care Center.
