Ann Fitzi

Ann died Wednesday, July 22, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 75. She was born Saturday, August 12, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Salvatore and Helen Mueller Basony. She married Stanley Fitzi on October 12, 1968 at Plato Center, Illinois and was a homemaker. Ann lived in Mountain Home since 2005 moving from Poplar Grove, Illinois. She loved to travel across the country in their motor home and to go boating. She also enjoyed playing cards, sewing and making crafts. Ann is survived by her husband, Stanley Fitzi and 1 son, Mike (Chris) Fitzi of Oswego, IL, 2 daughters, Becky (Ian) McCreath of Grand Valley, Ontario, CA and Edna (Bert) Sugden of Lake Villa, IL, 5 grandchildren , Kiera (Dan) McManness of Flippin, AR, Cody McCreath of Grand Valley, Ontario, CA, Carter Fitzi of Oswego, IL and Shaley and Derick Sugden of Lake Villa, IL, 1 brother, Lou (Lisa) Basony of Fayetteville, GA and 2 sisters, Helena Koepke of Elgin, IL and Caroline Bausone of Fenville, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services for Ann Fitzi of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Danny Hutcherson officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M., Saturday, July 25th. until service time.
