Ann Haynes was born July 25, 1910 at Franklin, Kansas the daughter of Martin and Anna Ferlan Shry. She married the late John W. Haynes August 1, 1928 at Chicago, Illinois. Mrs. Haynes was a homemaker and had resided in Gassville since moving from Chicago, Illinois in 1972. She loved to garden and cook and have family dinners. She was a former member of the Cotter VFW auxiliary. Mrs. Haynes died Sunday, January 25, 2004 at Gassville Nursing Center. Survivors: Ann Haynes is survived by two sons, Dan W. Haynes of Gassville and Jack A. (Joyce) Haynes of Little Rock; 7 grandchildren; Victoria Rose Haynes of Fayetteville; Michael W. Haynes of Mountain Home; Dan W. Haynes, Jr., Frenchtown, New Jersey; Craig Haynes, Gary Haynes, Mark Haynes all of Little Rock; and Cindy Davidson of Whidbey Island, WA; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Tony (Kay) Shry of Mountain Home and one sister, Irene Freistroffer of Fort Wayne, Indiana and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and one sister. Funeral: Funeral services for Ann Haynes, 93, of Gassville will be at 11:30, Thursday, January 29, 2004 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Lee Nirschl officiating.
