Ann R. James died at 4 p.m. on Monday, August 7, 2006, at Pine Lane Healthcare in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was born on January 28, 1909, in Memphis, Tennessee. She married Charles F. James on October 29, 1930. She was a loving daughter, mother and grandmother. She was a real estate agent for most of her career, on the Board of Ave Maria Nursing Home, and a member of the 19th Century Club in Memphis. Survivors: She is survived by a daughter Ann Jo Price of Mountain Home, Arkansas; daughter-in-law Judye James; and granddaughter Laura (John) Higdon and children Frances, Charlie and Eric of Knoxville, Tennessee; a granddaughter Jennifer (Bill) Clark and great-grandchildren, Brooks and Taylor Welk of Eufaula, Alabama. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her husband, son Charles James, Jr. and several brothers and sisters. Funeral: Services will be in Memphis, where she formerly lived, at Memorial Park Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Friday with visitation at 12:00 p.m. Memorials: Alzheimer Research
