Anna Margaret West, 103 years old, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away on May 17, 2011. She was born July 6, 1907 in Trenton, New Jersey, daughter of Orville E. and Laura Wright. She is predeceased by her husband, Neil Eathan West, a successful farmer, her first son, Clayton Palmer West and a daughter, Norma W. Tindall of Toms River, New Jersey.
Anna Margaret has three surviving children, a son, James (Doris) West III of La Plata, MO, Clayton Paul West of Mountain Home, AR and one daughter, Anna Margaret (John) Merwin of Lake George, CO. She also has numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Anna Margaret was a long-standing member of East Side Baptist Church of Mountain Home, a homemaker who also enjoyed gardening, cooking and world travel. She was a past Sunday school teacher and choir member and also played the organ.
Memorial may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
Visitation will be held 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, Mountain Home, Arkansas for local friends and family members.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 PM, Monday, May 23, 2011 at Peppler Funeral Home Chapel in Allentown, New Jersey. Visitation will be 1:00 PM until service time. Burial will follow at the Crosswicks Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
