Arline Daugherity

September 7, 1916 — June 9, 2007

Arline Thompson Daugherity age 90 years and 7 months, of Mountain Home, Arkansas died June 9, 2007 at Hospice of the Ozarks of Mountain Home. Her warm and loving nature and bright smile will be missed by everyone who knew her, especially her "Other Family" at Outlook Pointe where she resided in Mountain Home for 7 years. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church of Mountain Home, Trinity Lutheran Church of Ottawa, Illinois, Member of Ottawa Woman's Club, Church Circle of Ottawa, and Eastern Star of the Masonic Lodge of Streator, Illinois. Arline lived in Ottawa, Illinois and attended high school at Pleasant View in Ottawa. She lived in Streator, Illinois where she and Parke raised their two daughters before retiring to West Fork, Arkansas in 1970. With Parke's health problems they moved to Ottawa, Illinois until his death in 1988. Arline then moved to Mountain Home to be near her daughters. She loved reading, traveling and enjoyed many wonderful trips with the Funtimers Travel Club of Ottawa, Illinois.
Survivors: a daughter, Jane (Larry) Ritter of Mountain Home, and Patricia (Steven) Etzkin of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 3 grandchildren, Stefanie Ritter of Kansas City, Missouri, Brent Ritter of Mission, Kansas, and Kent (Nichole) Ritter of Graham, Washington.
Preceded in Death by: her husband Charles O'Reilly, killed in 1944 during WW II and Parke H. Daugherity, well-known attorney in LaSalle and Livingston County, Illinois. 5 brothers and 4 sisters
Funeral: Services and burial will be held later in Streator, Illinois.
