Arlo Berry

Arlo Junior Berry was born to Arlo and Midge Pool Berry at Trail, Missouri on April 12, 1942. Junior left us on April 16, 2012 at the age of 70.

Junior attended school at Silver Shade and Dora. Junior was employed in Ohio and Davenport, Illinois for several years. Junior moved back to Missouri and logged until health issues forced him to give up the profession he loved.

Junior loved to socialize. If he was at a gathering and wasn't acquainted with you when he arrived, he would be before he left. Junior never met a stranger. Junior was passionate about attending family gatherings, school reunions or just meeting a friend on a country road for an extended visit. Family and friends were his top priority in life. His giving heart will be one of his many qualities that will always be remembered.

Junior loved to hunt and fish. Spring turkey season was his favorite, by a good rabbit race came in a close second. Fishing, his other passion, was coordinated by what was biting, grabbing or gigging. Junior spent many nights crappie fishing with is cousin, Don Berry and special friend, Darin Stone.

Junior is survived by his wife, Karee Berry of Wasola, MO; daughters, Vickie and Terry Bledsoe of Drury, MO and Mary Berry and fiancé, Levi Hutchison of Ava, MO; grandson, Jason and Charity Bledsoe of Dora, MO; two great-grandchildren, Kaylin and Gage Bledsoe of Dora, MO; a sister, Sandra and Kevin Rackley of Soddy Daisy, TN; father-in-law, Jack Thorne of Wasola, MO; sister-in-law, Virginia Berry of West Plains, MO; brother-in-laws, Scott Throne of Carbondale, IL and Walter and Teresa Thorne of Seymour, MO.

Junior was preceded in death by his parents, Arlo and Midge Berry; brother, James Jay Berry, infant brother and mother-in-law, Mary Thorne.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Compassus, 807 N. Maine Suite 1, Mountian Grove, MO 65711 or the Eaton Cemetery.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 18, 2012
at the Eaton Cemetery with Reverend David Dodson officiating.
