Arlon Steinbach, 77, passed away on August 1, 2022, in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Arlon was born on June 3, 1945 in Saint Louis, Missouri, to Ervin Steinbach and Leona (During) Steinbach. Arlon graduated from Hillsboro, Missouri high school and went on to earn a music education degree from Concordia University River Forest in 1967. He went on to receive his Masters in Church Music in 1981. He started his career as a Music Director and Organist and went on to work for 55 years with various Lutheran Churches.
Arlon married Carol (Klemp) Steinbach on July 30, 1967 in Cleveland, Ohio; they celebrated 55 years together this past weekend. Together, they had four children, Scott, Kristi, William, and Victoria.
Arlon was best known for serving the Lord, music, art, nature and fishing.
Arlon is survived by his wife, Carol Steinbach of Mountain Home; son, William (Brenda) Steinbach of Yorkville, IL; two daughters, Kristi (Greg) Milam of Aurora, IL, and Victoria (Rob) Pelton of Mountain Home; eight grandchildren, Kayla, Grant, Emily, Robert, Joshua, Austin, Allison,and Isaac; brother, Donald (Aggie) of Hyettsville, MD and many nieces and nephews.
Arlon is preceded in death by his parents and son, Scott Steinbach.
Funeral Services for Arlon will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022, at 10:30 AM at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Mountain Home. Visitation will be Monday, from 9:00 AM until service time, at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Portage, Wisconsin.
Memorial donations can be made in Arlon's name to Redeemer Lutheran Church Choir.
