Arnold Maki was born October 26, 1914, at Wakefield, Michigan, to Victor and Louise Latthe Maki. He married Laila Lonnberg on October 25, 1952 at Waukegan, IL. He was a painter most of his career for the civil service. Mr. Maki was an Army veteran of WWII. He lived in Lake Villa, IL before moving to Mountain Home in July of 1977. He was an avid golfer, Chicago Cub and Bears fan, and former member of Twin Lakes Golf Course. He was of the Lutheran faith. Survivors: Mr. Maki is survived by his wife, Laila Maki, of Mountain Home, step-daughter, Linda (Charles) Maxwell, of Mesa, AZ, brother, Toivo John Maki, of Wauconda, IL, sister, Sylvia Kangas, of Waukegan, IL, 1 grandson, Jeff (Janice) Maxwell, of Glendale, AZ, 2 great-grandchildren, Lauren and Breanne Maxwell, and several nieces and nephews.
