Arnold "Arnie" A. Pauers of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away November 6, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 90. He was born November 16, 1930, in Hales Corners, Wisconsin, the son of August and Lilly Mahn Pauers. Arnold was a U.S. Marines veteran of the Korean War. He married Amy on August 28, 1982, in Franklin, Wisconsin, and owned and operated Arnie's Garage. Arnold "Arnie" lived in Mountain Home since moving from Franklin, Wisconsin, in 1986. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoyed cutting trees and building fires in the woodstove, and spending time outside with his antique tractors.
Arnie is survived by his wife, Amy Pauers of Mountain Home, AR; son, Paul Pauers; two daughters, Christine Jablonski, and Pam Haasch, step-son, Daniel Curtice; five step-daughters, Darlene Hanley, Lillian Curtice, Jane Allen, Robin Curtz, and Dawn Adams; brother, Harold Pauers; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; step-son, David Curtice.
A Memorial Service will be 11:00 am, Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Trinity Lutheran Church, with Pastor Daniel Schmidt officiating. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.
