A Memorial Service for Arnold Cox Verhoeven of Salesville, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 16, 2013, at the Moose Lodge #1953.
Arnold passed away October 25, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 76. He was born January 24, 1937, in Marianna, Arkansas, the son of George and Mable Cox Verhoeven. He married Nancy Pybas on April 9, 1955 at Greenwood, Mississippi and worked as a electrician and industrial worker. Arnold was member of the Army National Guard. Arnold lived in Salesville since April of 2000, moving from Haynes, Arkansas. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #1953, Mountain Home served as State President Mountain Home and was the only active Moose Legion Charter Member. He enjoyed fishing.
Arnold is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nancy Verhoeven of Salesville, AR, two sons, George (Cindy) Verhoeven of Wynn, AR and Ray (Vicki) Verhoeven of Vilonia, AR; eight grandchildren, Ray Verhoeven II, Shelly Smith, Kari Neiswander, Jason Carns, Letitia Verhoeven, Candice Verhoeven, Ashley Dean and Tiphany Lopez and eleven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Nancy Hall.
