Graveside services for Arthur Freeberg 88, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Gassville will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 28. 2011 at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery with the North Central Arkansas Veteran's Council, Ozark VFW Post 3246 Honor Guard officiating. Visitation will be Monday, June 27, 2011 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Kirby & Family Funeral Home.
Art died Wednesday, June 22, 2011 in Mesa. Arthur was born June 18, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Arthur E. and Ellen Linden Freeburg. He married Alice Spetta on November 20, 1944 at Chicago, Illinois. Arthur Freeberg was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and lived in Gassville from 2006 to 2010 before moving to Mesa.
Arthur is survived by 2 sons: Rick (Angie) Freeberg of Gassville, AR, Calden (Margaret) Freeberg of Buckeye, AZ; one daughter: Bonnie (James) Rohrssen of Mesa, AZ, 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 sisters; Eldora (David) Marshall of Westland, MI and Carol (Ray) Malone of Titusville, FL.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Freeberg.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
