Aubrey Wood

Memorial Service and Gathering of Friends for Aubrey T. Wood of Flippin will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 24, 2006 at Rock Springs Ranch, Highway 178 in Flippin, Arkansas. Mr. Wood died June 10, 2006 at his residence. He was born November 20, 1916 at Kingdon Springs, Arkansas to Robert and Joyce Williams Wood. He married Ruth at Phoenix, Arizona in 1950 and had lived in the Flippin area since moving from Phoenix, Arizona in 1970. He served with the US Army and was a bank reposseser. He loved to fish on the river and dance. He was a member of Bull Shoals-Lakeview Rotary; Elks; and Fraternal Order of Police. Survivors: He is survived by a son Jackie D. Wood of Columbus, Ohio; a daughter Joyce L. Dahl & husband Jim of Tempe, Arizona; grandchildren Cynthia L. Sill & husband Bill of Paola, Kansas, Sandra Jane Griffin & husband Mitch of Olathe, Kansas; Joe Scheid of Chandler, Arizona; Julie Scheid of Tempe, Arizona; Great Grandchildren Eric Hadley Alicia of Ocala, Florida; Christin and Ryan Jimenez of Olathe, Kansas; several nephews and nieces and good friends Dee & Joe Supergan of Flippin.
