Audie A. Perry, 95, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, in Tavares, Florida. Audie was born on December 24, 1927, in Big Flat, Arkansas, to Winford and Evalena Martin Perry. Audie served in the United States Air Force during World War II and the Korean War. He married Evelyn Walsh on August 3, 1951 in Orlando, Florida. He started his career as an LP Tank Driver, working for Florida Gas Company. After 30 years, he retired as a Master Service Man in 1983. Audie was best known for his friendliness and love of fishing. He was a member of the Cotter Church of Christ.
Audie is survived by his daughter, Brenda Gralton of Leesburg, FL; and three grandchildren, Travis Gralton of Gassville, AR, Tracy Gralton of Charlotte, NC, and Michael Gralton of Leesburg, FL.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; brother, Thurman Perry; and sister, Faye Francis Medley Davenport.
Visitation will be Friday, January 20, 2023 from 1:00 pm until service time at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Jeff Crawford officiating. Entombment will be in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, with Travis Gralton, Michael Gralton, Mitchell DeNoe, Ben Tucker, Ethan Britt, and Jerrad Britt as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Melton Sloan, Wade Britt, Lee Lane, and Jesse Buckley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Audie's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
