Audrey McGeahy

A Graveside Memorial Service for Audrey Helen McGeahy, 92, of Henderson, Nevada will be 11AM Friday March 5, 2010 at Newton Flat Cemetery in Bull Shoals with the Reverend Nicholas Lascaro officiating. Audrey passed away Feb. 11, 2010. She was born April 15, 1917, in Milwaukee, WI to Edward and Helen Nowak. Audrey resided in Milwaukee, WI for 55 years then Bull Shoals, AR for 27 years before moving to Nevada 11 years ago to be with family. Audrey was a homemaker, loving mother, an accomplished golfer and an avid Packers fan. While living in Milwaukee she worked as a merchandise buyer for several major department stores. After moving to Arkansas, she was employed by Baxter Regional Medical Center. Audrey married Herbert S. McGeahy in 1938, and they enjoyed 56 years of love and happiness. Together, they found their ideal retirement spot on the shores of Bull Shoals Lake, where they enjoyed their dogs, deer feeding in their backyard, golfing, traveling, fishing, and most of all her church, Bull Shoals United Methodist Church. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herbert; and grandson, Stewart. She is survived by her son, Jim (Laura); grandsons, Jamie (Brenda) and Shaun (AJ); granddaughters, Melissa and Renee (Carlos); great-grandsons, Logan, Jacob, Connor and Braden; and great-granddaughters, Miranda and Regan.
