Barbara Ann Beebe

A Graveside Service for Barbara Ann Beebe of Mountain Home, Arkansas will be 1:30 pm, Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, December 17, 2016, at Mountain Home Bible Church, with Reverend Mike Bennett officiating.

Barbara passed away December 8, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 69. She was born March 26, 1947, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the daughter of Ellsworth S. and Erma Kirby Leighton. She married Kenneth Beebe on June 5, 1969, at North Kingstown, Rhode Island and was a homemaker. Barbara lived in Mountain Home since 1990, moving from Roseburg, Oregon. She was a member of the Mountain Home Bible Church and Choir. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and T.O.P.P.S. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, bowling and was an accomplished painter.

Barbara is survived by her two step-sons, John Beebe of Mountain Home, AR and Dayle Beebe of Kokomo, IN; two step-daughters, Kathryn Stinson of Benton, AR and Janet Beebe of Mountain Home, AR; two sisters, Mary Katheryn Barba of Omaha, NB and Julia Leighten of Council Bluffs, IA; seven grandchildren and close friend, Phyllis Holmes of Mountain Home, AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and granddaughter, Lisa.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks or Mountain Home Bible Church.
