Barbara Farley

Funeral services for Barbara Joy Farley of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be at a later date in Iowa. Barbara passed away November 10, 2012, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 78. She was born May 11, 1934, in Boone, Iowa, the daughter of Howard and Dorothy Woods Crouse. She married Marvin Farley on January 25, 1969, at Fullerton, California, and was a telecommunications operator for Hughes Aircraft. She was also a secretary for the Ames, Iowa School District. Barbara lived in Mountain Home, since 1991, moving from Fullerton, California. She was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, bowling, playing cards and supporting Notre Dame. Barbara loved her dog, Ziggy. Barbara is survived by her husband, Marvin Farley of Mountain Home, Arkansas, son, Jim (Sheryl) Farley of Roan Oak, Virginia, and brother, Dale (Carol) Crouse. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one granddaughter, Keely Megan Farley. Burial will be in the Bass Point Cemetery, Boone, Iowa, at a later date. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks or the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
