Barbara Gullett

Visitation for Mrs. Gullett will be 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Kirby and Family Funeral Home, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Barbara died Thursday, March 18, 2010 in Mountain Home, AR, at the age of 74. She was born in Blakesburg, Iowa, the daughter of Hale and Bernice Kinkade Chidester. She married Willis Gullett on June 26, 1955 at Ottumwa, Iowa. She was a homemaker and worked as a secretary for John Deere Manfacturing. Barbara lived in Mountain Home since 1990 moving from Ottumwa. She was a member of the First Christian Church and the P.E.O. Barbara Gullett is survived by her husband, Willis Gullett, 2 sons, Wes Alan (Deb) Gullett of Phoenix, AZ and Jon (Claudia) Gullett of O'Fallon, IL, 5 grandchildren, Javier, Ana, Nicole, Catherine and Kelly Gullett, 2 brothers, Dorrell Chidester of Ottumwa, IA and Larry (Janet) Chidester of Sun Lakes, AZ and 3 sisters, Beatrice Anderson of St. Joseph, Mo, Maxine (Bill) Stackhouse of Ottumwa, IA and JoAnn (Donald) Roemerman of Lake Ozark, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services will be 10:00AM Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Reece Funeral Home Chapel and burial will be in the Shaul Cemetery in Ottumwa, Iowa.
