Barbara Ann McAliney

A Funeral Service for Barbara Ann McAliney of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 11am, Monday, September 21, 2015 at Duker and Haugh Funeral Home with Reverend Lee Amsler officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, September 20, 2015 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at the funeral home

Barbara passed away September 16, 2015, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 72. She was born August 17, 1943, in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of Harold and Helen Murawski Arnold. She married Robert McAliney on September 8, 1962, and was a homemaker. Barbara lived in Mountain Home since August 2, 2015, moving from Quincy, Illinois. Barbara was always busy with friends and loved spending time with her grandkids. She enjoyed spending time at her lake house and with her beloved dogs. Barbara loved Jesus and had set aside a special time to pray every day.

Barbara is survived by her daughter-in-law, Lynette McAliney of Mountain Home, AR; son, Tom (Melinda) McAliney of Lake Saint Louis, MO; five grandchildren, Jessica (Robert) Hogard and John, Kevin, Jocelyn and Jacob McAliney; one great-grandchild, Braxton Hogard and two sisters, Patty (Don) Brummel of Plano, IL and Paula Wert of Quincy, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and son, James McAliney.

Burial will be in the Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy, Illinois, with Robert Hogard, John, Kevin, Tom and Jacob McAliney and Don Brummel as pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas.
