A Graveside Service for Barbara Ann Tennison of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at Park Lawn Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri, with Pastor Ivan Bergner officiating.
Barbara passed away August 9, 2018, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 75. She was born August 26, 1942, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of William and Louise Romacker Mazdra. She graduated from the Sophie Barat School in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1959. She married Gary Tennison on October 20, 1962, in Juneau, Alaska and was a secretary. Barbara lived in Mountain Home since moving from North Carolina, in 2003. She was an avid quilter and a member of the Bias Bunch Group Quilters and the Hill and Hollow Quilters Guild both of Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Gary Tennison of Mountain Home, AR; two daughters, Ruth Tennison of Mountain Home, AR, and Marjorie Leer of Camby, IN; two brothers, James Mazdra of St. Louis, MO, and William Mazdra of Buffalo Grove, IL; grandson, Darrin Leer of Hermiston, OR; and granddaughter, Alissa Leer of Camby, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
