Becky Lea "Becky" Baker

A Funeral Service for Rebecca Lea “Becky” Baker of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 22, 2014, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Ken Burton officiating.

Becky passed away September 18, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 60. She was born May 12, 1954, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, the daughter of Frank Carroll and Dorothy Neel Baker. She married Art Roets on January 30, 1999, at Harrison, Arkansas. Becky was a lifetime resident of Mountain Home, and a member of the Mountain Home Church of Christ. She enjoyed being with her family and caring for others as a faithful and registered nurse, for over fifteen years. In Becky’s younger years she worked as a legal secretary. After having her two sons, Darin and Cody, Becky became a devoted and loving homemaker until entering her nursing career in 1998.

Becky is survived by her husband, Art Roets of Mountain Home, AR; two sons, Darin (Laura) Jarrett of Mountain Home, AR, and Cody (Sarah) Jarrett of Springfield, MO; two brothers, Jimmy (Maria) Baker of Mountain Home, and Larry (Irene) Baker of the Philippines; sister, Diane (Rick) Caples of Mountain Home; uncle, Dene (Carrie) Baker of Henderson, AR; aunt, Sharon Baker of Mountain Home; great-nephew, Steel Douglas of Mountain Home; first cousin, Linda Crossland of Overland Park, KS; three grandchildren, Kenzi Jarrett, Hayden Bahr, and Hunter Bahr.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Debra Baker; niece Angela Bond.

Burial will be in the Conley Cemetery, Mountain Home, AR, with Darin Jarrett, Jamie McCracken, Ben Dickerson, Travis Baker, Derek Baker, and Jarrett Cotter as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Jarrett, Steel Douglas, Rick Caples, Frank Miller, Dr. Daniel Valach, and Jim Estes.
