George Bennett "Ben" King of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away January 5, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 42. He was born February 27, 1978, in Harrison, Arkansas, the son of Terry and Gay Bennett King. Ben lived in Mountain Home most of his life. He was a member of the Fellowship Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Ben was a 1996 graduate of Mountain Home High School. He enjoyed playing guitar and bar-b-queing.
Ben is survived by his parents, Terry and Gay King; daughter, AliAnna "Ali" King; sister, Amanda McGinnis, all of Mountain Home, AR; grandmother, Polly Bennett, of Batesville, AR; niece, Madison McGinnis, of Jonesboro, AR and nephew, Gabriel "Gabe" McGinnis, of Mountain Home, AR; two aunts, Nancy (Mike) Hillard, of Rogers, AR and Becky (Steve) Singleton, of Conway, AR; uncle, Mike King, of Batesville, AR; special friend, Becky Mathis, of DeWitt, AR and many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Tucker Bennett and paternal grandparents, George and Evelyn King.
A Graveside Service for Ben will be 12:30 pm, Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Roselawn Cemetery in Calico Rock, AR, with Reverend Gary Tubb officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Nathen Rogers, Brad Hunter, Tyler King, J.J. Fratesi, Jai Wescoat, Ben Bremmer, Jacob Marx, Jason Beck, Justin Dickerson, Jayme Mullin, and Toby Webb. Due to current restrictions, masks are required at all services.
