Bennie Chandler passed away July 7, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 71. She was born in Ashdown, Arkansas on January 31, 1945. At the time of her death, she had been married to Fred Chandler, of Mountain Home, Arkansas for 46 years.
A member of the Red Hat Society, Bennie will be missed for her wry humor and southern charm. Always quick with a witty reply, she never left a conversation boring. She will also be missed for her cooking to include some of the best schnitzel this side of the Rhine.
In addition to her husband, Bennie is survived by her daughter, Karin Norris of Dallas, Texas; her son, Scott Chandler of Mountain Home, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Kristin Hicks, of Little Rock, Arkansas and Jesse, Zachary, and Nicole Norris of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be private.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
