Rusty is survived by sister-in-law, Christine Pavalko; neice, Roxanne Atkinson and her children, Tony, Paige, and Audrey, of Houston, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers, Alex and Joseph Pavalko.
It is impossible to adequately express our thanks to Mary and John Geyer for their amazing friendship and support. Seeing Bernadette through the difficult and final phases of pancreatic cancer was a gift of love. It was just the little things, Mary, that meant so much.
We are also grateful for the loving and respectful care provided by the staff of Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House, Dr. Mark Williams, Dr. Ed White, nurses, Renee Biermann, Rosemary Perez, Mandy Worsham, Debbie Marler, Marjorie Swanson, Freda Shaker, Dawn Koerts, Anita Hall, Chris Cox, Debbie Hurst, nursing assistants, Linda Zimmerman, Heather Watson, Josephine Chase, and social worker Samantha Aklin.
Bernadette believed fully in the protection and care of all animals, so any donations on her behalf may be made to the Humane Society and would be appreciated by those of us left to remember her enormous heart.
